Body-Led Bodywork
Body-Led Bodywork is an intentional, responsive approach to relieving pain and tension—guided by your body rather than a fixed routine.
Each session draws from a blend of techniques, including fascial work, trigger point therapy, and deeper, focused pressure when appropriate. Tissue release is not forced; it is encouraged.
Trigger Points & Fascial Release
Throughout the body, there are specific points that can help release tension when worked with. These are often referred to as trigger points, motor points, or acupressure points.
Working with these points can not only help release tension locally but also throughout connected parts of the body.
This work often feels different from a traditional deep tissue massage. Even those who are used to firm pressure may notice that this approach reaches deeper, more specific areas without relying on excessive force.
Just beneath your skin lies fascia, a continuous web of connective tissue that supports and connects your entire body.
When fascia becomes restricted, it can create tension or pulling in areas that may seem unrelated. This is why working in one part of the body can sometimes create sensations in another part of the body.
By working with these layers slowly and intentionally, we support mobility, circulation, and overall ease, which helps the body function as a connected whole.
While many people feel relief after their first session, lasting change often happens over time.
Just as pain can accumulate over time, it can also take time to unravel it. You may find that initially it is helpful to receive care more often, and then switch to maintenance after pain start to resolve.
